# Genie opener with round light flashing red, long light off: something is blocking the safety beam, or it is out of line

## Something is blocking the safety beam

Something sits in the path of the Safe-T-Beam sensors near the floor.

**You can check this.** Move whatever is in the way, then try the door again.

## The safety beam is out of line or interfered with

The sensor pair is out of line, or another pair of sensors nearby is interfering with it.

**You can check this.** Line up the sensor pair, and check how it sits against the nearest other pair.
