Quiet garage door in 5 minutes. Most of the time, your door is making noise because the metal-onmetal points are rubbing together and grinding, and that's why you're getting noises. Here's what you'll need. A drill, can of lube, siliconebased lubricant, and if you don't have a drill, a wrench. First, I like to start by making sure all of our nuts and bolts on the door are tight. We're going to make sure the

door is in the closed position all the way and detached from your motor. Make sure that my drill is set to the lowest setting. Now it's time to lubricate. When we spray our hinges, we want to make sure that we're lubricating the part where the hinge parts meet. With these Martin door hinges, they have this little hole that'll get our lubrication right inside of there. When lubricating rollers, there's

two places we want to look at. where the roller goes into the hinge as well as where the bearings are sitting on the roller wheel itself. When lubricating our springs, we'll want to do a nice thick coat along the whole springs, front and back, if we can get both sides. We'll also want to lubricate in between our springs. Bonus points if you lubricate your bearings, too.

Now for the moment of truth. Nice. All we can hear is the motor humming. If your garage door is making any noises or has any issues, give us a call.
