It's freezing out. You press the button and the door won't lift. If there was wet snow or water at the bottom, it may be frozen to the floor. Don't force the door, you can tear the seal, and don't keep running the opener against the ice. Chip the ice away gently, or melt it with warm water. Skip the ice melt, especially on a metal door. Then dry the floor. If the door still won't lift by hand, or feels very heavy, stop. That can be a broken spring. Springs and cables are always a job for a pro.
