Your garage door opened by itself. Nobody pressed a thing. Chamberlain says the first thing to check is a remote with a stuck button. Look at the light by the Learn button on the motor unit. If it flashes fast and will not stop, a remote is sending a constant signal. Take the battery out of each remote, one at a time. When the flashing stops, that last remote is the one. No luck? Chamberlain says another person's remote may be paired to your opener, or the wall control may be shorted. The wall control wiring is a job at the motor unit. If you are not comfortable on a ladder, call a technician. Our guide is at garagedoorscience.com.
