Your garage door's getting louder every time it moves. Clopay says that's friction building up. Put a light coat of lubricant on the hinge pins and the steel roller bearings. Use a silicone spray, or white lithium grease sparingly. Wipe off the extra. Nothing should drip. Not the tracks. Wipe those with a damp cloth. Not nylon rollers. And Clopay says skip oil-based lubricants. Never spray the spring, even if it squeaks. Tell the pro when you book. Springs and cables are always a job for a pro.
